Many people think that getting a perfect score on the SAT is not even worth trying. They believe that only a few special people have the ability to do so. They are wrong.
They key thing you must understand about the SAT is that it is very limited. Because the test is standardized, there are few things in particular that the College Board can use on him. It must use the same game as it always has, because if she started to apply new techniques to confusetest-takers, colleges would no longer be able to compare today's results to those of a year ago – if students took the test, we contrasted two different sets of these "tricks", then it is not useful to compare their scores.
This is very important when it comes to preparing for the SAT. You must realize that because you can buy copies of actual SAT written by the College Board (which are only available in the Official Study Guide SAT), you have examples in advance for everythingthe College Board can throw at you on test day. It is a huge advantage that few people use.
You might think "Well, sure, I have copies of old SAT, but how do I know which words appear on the test I take?" If you pay close attention, however, you see that little word currents are not often a problem on the SAT. They show up, but they are often in places where you do not really need to know what they mean, and where you can calculate enough that they mean ofcontext and meaning of cognates. If you really learn from copies of the test you have, you will see that learning to use word roots and background will serve you much better than memorizing lists of words that probably will not even appear on the test you are taking.
So remember: the College Board's hands are tied. It can not test so many things in many ways, and the tips he can use are limited. Make sure that only one study with real practice tests written by Sat CollegeBoard of Directors, and familiarize you with all the different ways in which the College Board is trying to confuse you.
If you only practice with real SAT questions and you look closely at your wrong answers, you'll be on your way to a very high score. It's simple, but it works
